Zakāh al-Fiṭr

Zakāh al-Fiṭr 1444/2023 – we have stopped collecting contributions for this year.

Narrated by Ibn Umar may Allāh be pleased with him, the Messenger ﷺ ordered for the payment of one Ṣā’* of dates or one Ṣā’ of barley as Zakāh al-Fiṭr on every Muslim slave or free, male or female, young or old, and he ordered that it be paid before the people went out to offer the ‘Īd prayer. Taalib is providing a service to the community by collecting and distributing the Zakāh al-Fiṭr.

The contributions will be used to purchase/distribute rice in Nigeria before Ṣalāh al-‘Īd is established in the UK (20th April) InshāAllah.

May Allah accept our Zakāh and Ibādah.
